The Story of City Girls Social

Hi, I’m Hanna, the founder of City Girls Social.

This community was born from a feeling I know so many of us share: how surprisingly hard it can be to make new friends as an adult. Whether it was after college or now in my 30s, I have experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find meaningful connections when we don’t automatically share built-in communities like school, sports, or clubs.

Years ago, I turned to Bumble BFF and met some of my closest friends through it, which reminded me that friendship doesn’t have an expiration date. It just sometimes requires a little more intention.

Working full-time in the fashion industry is something I love, but I was craving a space where I could bring people together and help women feel connected in their city. That’s how City Girls Social was born. It is my passion and it brings me so much joy to create experiences where women can meet, mingle, and build friendships that feel meaningful and lasting.

Today, City Girls Social hosts several events each month, all designed for women to meet, mingle, and build meaningful connections. From curated gatherings to fun themed experiences, every event is an opportunity to make new friends, create new memories, and create lasting friendships.

 

City Girls Social was founded in 2024 by Hanna Rose in Columbus, Ohio.
